About me

I am an associate professor (profesor permanente laboral) at the Mathematics Department (area of Algebra) of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Zaragoza, and also a researcher at the IUMA.

My research interests belong to the realm of Number Theory and Arithmetic Geometry. More concretely, my work is mainly concerned with:

  • Heegner points on modular elliptic curves, Euler systems and p-adic L-functions
  • Abelian varieties and their endomorphisms, arithmetic of Shimura curves and varieties
  • Rational points on algebraic curves, obstructions to the local-global principle
