I am a CSIC scientist at INMA. I am also affiliated with the Department of Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Zaragoza.
I earned my Laurea (Bachelor’s degree) with the highest marks from the University of Camerino in 1996 and completed a joint PhD degree from the Universities of Leiden and Zaragoza in 2001.
My career includes positions at the University of Leiden from 2001 to 2004 and at CNR-NANO in Modena from 2004 to 2009.
I then joined INMA as a `Ramón y Cajal´ fellow, after being ranked 1st in the 2008 national call for the panel of Materials Science and Technology.
I achieved tenure as a CSIC scientist in 2010 and became a senior scientist in 2017.
